Note: This is a story from a prompt and not in any way my actual life.
Perhaps it's meant to be this way. You're the third wheel. Then the two other friends fight and suddenly you're the most important thing in the world to each of them because you have to pick which one to be BFF's with. First, they cast you aside and be the picture-perfect best friends from a movie whilst you sit there alone. One day they have a fight. They can't get over their egos' so they continue to fight with each other as though all the bad times erase the good times. "
The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant." -Doctor Who. Then, in one unique moment, they turn to you. *plot twist* you're now the most important thing in the world and they'll do anything for you to win you over. The sad thing is, is you fall for it. And once you choose, it gets worse. They stop doing what it took to get you. The other friend sulks alone now. The friend you chose feels bad for them. They become friends again and *poof* you're the third wheel again. Is this how life works? You're just a tool, a plaything to use when wanted but to be cast aside to the basement as soon as you stop doing exactly what they want?
No.
