Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated, "the years teach much which the days never knew."
I see this quote as making a point of saying that while over the course of several years, one can gain much insight, but over the course of a day or two, it can seem like nothing is out of the ordinary. That which we pass by daily, becomes evermore a lesson for our future selves.

Quote of the Day
Hello, my dear readers! I hope you're having a wonderful day.
Here is my quote of the day:
"What is life? They say it's from 'B' to 'D'. From birth to death. But what's between 'B' and 'D'? It's a 'C'. So what is a 'C'? It is a choice. Our life is a matter of choices. Live well and it will never go wrong." ~Unknown.
For all of us on blogger all around the world, goodnight.

High School
High school can be a crazy, wonderful, magical, and absolutely insane time in a person's life. It can have so many precious memories, and it can also hold some of your most embarrassing moments. It's all part of what's called teenagerism. (Not an actual word. Maybe.) You're figuring out who you are, while trying to scrape though Mr. Bergman's history exams. It's a magical, weird, and absolutely wonderful time to live.
But it's certainly not the easiest. Everyone who's ever been a teenager in high school will know that it can be a complicated experience full of challenges. Between the never-ending pile of homework, throwing secret parties to gain popularity you know you'll never get, and just trying to fit in and be who you are, while figuring out just exactly who you are. High school is full of emotions, confusions, classifications, judgements, homework, and so much more stuff, that no one really needs to worry about so much.
So what if you don't have a hot date for the dance? So what if you're not as popular as you'd like to be? So what if people deem you a nerd or a geek? I'll be honest, it's not fun to deal with, but honestly the more important thing is staying true to who you are. And it can be really hard to figure out who you are while you're dealing with the rest of high school's Judgement Network. (Yes, I did make up the title, but it sounds official so I'm using it.) But do me a favor. Well, actually, do you a favor. Take one night this week, go to wherever you're happiest at home (whether that be your room, the basement, the attic, the roof, etc.) and just let it out. Say what you need to say that you've kept in for so long. Figure out who you are, and when you find it, don't let it go. Don't conform to whatever pressure people are putting on you. You deserve so much better. You are beautiful just the way you are.
Some of you may be wondering why I'm saying all this. I'm saying this because I'm a teenager in high school who went through all this in elementary school. I know what it's like. But I'm in a high school now that's so much different, and everyone accepts me for who I am. Crazy, right? Someone told me what I'm telling you now, when I was going through the Judgement Network. And I figured out who I am. I let go of the strings that were holding me back from my goals, for I wasn't a puppet to tease anymore. When this person helped me figure out who I am, they told me to spread the word. Help other people find out who they are. That's what I'm doing now. And I hope that when you figure out who you are, you'll spread the word and help others to. It's honestly the greatest gift you can give someone. And with Christmas coming up, I'd say now is a pretty good time to spread the love.
High school can be a crazy, complicated, painful, and absolutely insane time in a person's life, but you don't have to let it.
For all of us on Blogger, all around the world, have a great day.
