Quote of the Day (part 2)

Hey everyone! I'm doing another 'Quote of the Day' because I think it's a really awesome quote and you all should hear it.

"To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world." -Unknown

I think this is a beautiful, wonderful quote and I hope you all realize the truth in it. Each and every one of you is beautiful, and amazing, and wonderful, and joyously human. Don't let go of that.

Anyway, I hope you guys see the truth in this quote if you haven't already. And you know what? Pass it around! Spread this quote everywhere you can to let those around you know that they are loved. Good luck, have fun, and have a great evening everyone!

Xoxo,

Elaine

Quote of the Day

I've been reading a classic American novel named "Uncle Tom's Cabin". In reading this book, I remembered a quote from the movie Ever After.

"If you suffer your people to be ill-educated, and their manners corrupted from infancy, and then punish them for those crimes to which their first education disposed them, what else is to be concluded, sire, but that you first make thieves and then punish them?" -Danielle de Barbarac

Happiness Challenge

I challenge all of you. Yes you, right there! I challenge you to text 10 people saying "Be happy". Nice and simple like that. Just say "Be happy". Trust me, it'll make a difference. There are over 900 of you, and if you all text ten people, then that means that over 9,000 people across the globe will receive texts saying "Be happy". How amazing is that? So go ahead! Spread the word! Make a difference.

Quote of the Day

"I regret nothing in my life, even if my past is full of hurt, I still look back and smile, because it made me who I am today." - Unknown

This quote really speaks to me because my past is full of hurt and loss, but now I'm living the happiest moments of my life. I recognize that I wouldn't be nearly as grateful each and every day for the life I live now, if it weren't for my past. So if you have any bad memories that you just want to erase from your life, any hurtful memories you can't get out of your head, stop pushing them away. Look back on them and smile because you are beautiful and amazing just the way you are, and if it weren't for your past, you wouldn't be who you are today. Good luck to all and have a great day!

Quote of the Day

"When you find something that makes you happy, then you can't give up on it, no matter what." ~"Holly", The Mistletones.

I'm posting this because I believe it's true- everything about it. How many of you out there have found something that just makes you so happy, you can't even think about it for a second without smiling like a lunatic? I know I have. I also know I can't let it go. For those of you out there who have already found something like that, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, give up on it. For those of you who are still searching: stop searching. You've already found it. You just don't know it. It doesn't matter how bad of a situation you are in, because there is always light in the dark. That light is the one thing in this world that makes you happier than anything else. Hold onto that light and never let go.

Quote of the Day

Quote of the day today:

“Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.” — The Doctor, Season 3, Episode 6

I'm posting this because I really do find a deep connection to it. I think this is completely true- everything in the quote, and I hope you all find a connection with it as well.

Goodbye

Goodbye middle school. I'll treasure the memories.

Quote of Day

My sincere apologies for not posting yesterday.

Quote for yesterday: “You want weapons? We’re in a library! Books! The best weapons in the world!” — The Doctor, Season 2, Episode 2

Quote for today: “This is one corner… of one country, in one continent, on one planet that’s a corner of a galaxy that’s a corner of a universe that is forever growing and shrinking and creating and destroying and never remaining the same for a single millisecond. And there is so much, so much to see.” — The Doctor, Season 7, Episode 4
